We are looking for an experienced and talented individual to drive Verve’s go-to-market strategy. In this role, reporting to the CEO, you will be working with a team of highly-talented team members that are leaders in their respective disciplines. You Will:

  • Reporting to the CEO, drive the strategy and execution of sales activities, including go-to-market strategy, sales, and overall commercialization approach.
  • Develop strategic partnerships that support Verve revenue and growth targets. 
  • Accelerate revenue growth by connecting sales objectives with Verve product offering.
  • Create the playbook for identifying, engaging, qualifying, and securing new customer partnerships.
  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to refine key performance indicators (KPIs) that demonstrate the success of deployed Verve systems and drive additional deployments.
  • Partner with the CEO to set and review both quarterly and annual goals and sales objectives, monitor and report key metrics to senior leadership team.
  • Manage and grow a sales opportunity pipeline across the initial and future markets to support and validate go-to-market strategy and sales plan.
  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to influence Verve’s product roadmap.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement focusing on delivering value to customers and being responsive to their needs.
  • Travel to customer sites to discuss customer requirements, highlight Verve value, and make sales presentations to key decision makers. 
  • Participate in weekly internal and external customer meetings to support the ‘voice of the customer’.
  • Identify and manage risks to customer deployment success.
  • Develop strategy for marketing events and trade shows and actively lead the execution.
  • Lay the foundation for future growth of an exceptional sales team.

You Are (or You Have):

  • Have recent and significant (5+ years) experience closing equipment deals which include hardware, software, data, and professional services.
  • Work well with a multi-disciplinary team to create proposals that meet the customer needs.
  • Experience negotiating and closing deals, particularly for early-stage businesses. 
  • Relevant experience commercializing technology in warehouses or supply chain is a plus.
  • Experience with robotics, hardware/software products for industrial applications is desired.
  • Track record of delivering and scaling software and electromechanical products to customers.
  • Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment.
  • Ability to travel to partners and customer sites as needed.
