Role: Supply Chain Manager

● Develop and manage Verve’s supply chain to meet demand, cost, inventory, delivery
and service goals.
● Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality and operations to drive
supplier selection and development initiatives across product lifecycles.
● Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and
delivery goals are met.
● Monitor supplier performance and proactively address risks to ensure on-time delivery
and adherence to quality standards.
● Lead demand planning and purchasing processes, tools, and analysis to optimize stock
levels and to minimize shortages and excess.
● Measure, monitor, and improve sourcing, planning, and purchasing processes to
increase efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
● Maintain COGS models and identify and implement year over year cost reductions.

You:

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's
degree in Business Administration, Industrial or Operations Engineering, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field preferred.
● Minimum 7-10 years of direct experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier
management with focus on NPI, supplier cost, execution, and scale preferably with
robotics or similar electromechanical products. Soft goods experience is a plus.
● Proven record in negotiation and conflict resolution with suppliers and external
partners, to ensure cost-effective procurement and supply agreements.
● Demonstrated success developing and managing supplier relationships and achieving
cost savings at both NPI and scaled volumes, including internationally.
● Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards
relevant to robotics or similar electromechanical products.
● Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
● Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving priorities and
challenges.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management and decision-making skills.
