The Role:
  • Designing and validating software controls for robotics and industrial automation equipment.
  • Identifying requirements; developing specifications; and implementing, testing, qualifying algorithms for improving function of the exosuit along with ways of utilizing the data from the suit to improve user performance.
  • Generating and validating Hardware-in-the-loop test tools and methods
  • Writing verification and validation plans for the safety system.
  • Collaborating with internal resources and leading external contractors in the development of product improvements.
  • Analyzing failure modes of the control system, the effect of the failure, identifying mitigations and diagnostics
  • Driving projects to closure; ensuring that systems could be easily be configured, deployed and maintained.

About You:
  • BS in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • Experience with sensor selection and interfaces
  • At least 4 years industry experience in controls development
  • Experience programming with C, Python, and Golang
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
